Our main day trip: up to 19 guests on the glass-bottom boat, 10:00 to about 17:30, from Eden Island North Marina.
How the day goes
We leave Eden Island North Marina at ten and cross into the marine park, sheltered water a few minutes from Mahé. The first stop is over the reef: the boat holds position and you watch the coral and the fish through the glass floor. Then anyone who wants to snorkel goes in, with mask, snorkel and fins from the boat.
Later there's a sandbank stop when conditions allow, Moyenne Island and its giant tortoises, a Creole BBQ with drinks, and a second swim before we head back. We're usually alongside again between five and half past. There's a vegetarian option for the BBQ; tell us when you book.
